Natalie Perez recently posted the attached review of Providence Point on Instagram.

In fact, I suspect I’m like you: books have always been part of my life. I hope some of the ones that influenced me glimmer in the background of Providence Point. As you read, you may well recognize echoes of works like John Moore’s wonderful Brensham Trilogy, Gerald Durrell’s My Family and Other Animals, Jean Giono’s memorable tales of the southern Alps, or Peter Mayle’s delightful Year in Provence. What I love best are stories with just enough warmth and nostalgia to draw me into their world, along with down-to-earth authenticity that reflects the hard edges of real life. As one of the characters in Providence Point observes, ‘There’s no Paradise without a serpent.’ If that rings a bell, this is the novel for you!
